OVER Thinking…

OVER Thinking…

There is something GOOD that happens to us when we start living our lives with the truths and beliefs that are REAL for us.  We all hear so many stories of how people hide behind traditional beliefs that came from our childhood, our churches we grew up in, the school or neighborhood of our youth. For some of us, that  seems like a lifetime ago! However, we do know that our subconscious can be busy dragging us back if we are not consciously thinking through what our beliefs mean as we go THROUGH life. Do you ever find yourself OVER thinking? I have to keep saying these words to myself when that happens…

“JUST BE…in the MOMENT”

I feel like my beliefs are pretty solid now in my life. Could I change a thought? Of course. If someone or an event that interests me comes up, I LISTEN. I still search for people I want to read or listen to their wise words. But I’ve been able to relax more now realizing that the power of choice lives within me.  Once I began talking and sharing my experiences, life slowly brought me to this place. What followed was the ability to share my beliefs as life brought situations into my life where I could have denied or tried to blend in with a group of individuals. I don’t have to say these words out loud in a group…but I can say again to myself, “Terry, JUST BE…in the Moment.” But at moments I have to add the words, “Infuse more LOVE for the individual journey of every person you meet!” And in my head, I am reminding myself, STOP OVER thinking!

Lately as I have been dealing with difficult health issues for my husband, I really have to emphasize those words to myself because I start thinking about what MIGHT happen, when it MIGHT happen, what if THIS happens?

“STOP OVER thinking…Just BE in the moment!”

Each one of us has different challenges in our lives in this human form, but we ALL have them! I decided to write on this topic because it helps me to process what is happening in my body if I keep OVER thinking! The scenario does not bode well. I don’t know if you can relate to these thoughts, but I am hoping that I can help any of you with practices and helpful hints that have been helping me. As I realize that my mind IS over thinking, I am reminded of a webinar I listened to recently when Michael Sandler was interviewing Dr. Sue Morter. This was a great interview and I really enjoy Dr. Sue Morter. I’ve listened to her over years as she was with both Gregg Braden and Bruce Lipton, PhD. They worked together and shared together. She also did a webinar with Dr. Eric Pearl. But this time, in Michael Sandler’s interview there was a simple statement made, but it hit me in just the RIGHT place.

“OVER Thinking instead of FEELING can create an imbalance in our lives.” ~ Dr. Sue Morter

I realized I needed to FEEL the FEELING of what is happening in my husband’s life to get in touch with those deep emotions that live within me. I needed to express my feelings…to myself or friends/family  that I confide deep seated emotions. Something lifted. Perhaps it is that God created soul presence from within me, an angel right there to lift me up, or guides that I know are with me always. We need to surrender to the truth of who we are! We came here for JOY in our lives and we can ALL find that regardless of any difficult situations we are living in. That huge smile came over me one morning as I processed all of this in my meditations!

I hope you too can connect to that inner vision of yourself. We CAN live our beliefs, get in touch with our body’s energy and ENJOY that beautiful place when wisdom arises from within! Of course it all has to start with self love!

STOP OVER thinking, feel your emotions, express them when needed, LAUGH and LOVE your life!
