Belief is a KEY!

How do we KNOW when something is real? I’d say most often we ask for someone else to validate that our belief about something is true. And yet, in our day to day decision making we simply can’t wait for someone to validate our thinking or we’d never make a decision. With spiritual thoughts that might cross over & contradict main stream thinking, do we really want to keep asking, is this true? Maybe there’s a better way.

Maybe we should simply live like our every belief we know is true until something happens to change our mind. Let’s be BOLD together. Let’s just DO IT as the saying goes.

Have you ever been down or depressed over a few days, but had the negative feeling disappear as you stopped to help another in need?  Or has a wave of grief come over you and you simply could not shake the feeling only to have your heart lifted as you stopped by to take a vase of flowers to a friend for no particular reason other than friendship. That’s living the belief that if we give we receive!

The laws of the Universe are incredibly beautiful when we put them to work through belief. There is a REAL happening inside of you that simply lifts you up when you give AWAY to another in LOVE. There are so many sources that have shared this concept long before Science decided energetically there just might be something to this. So, if we know this to be true…we should be able to simply step out and give when we are feeling depressed and expect the depression to lift.

Not too many people stop to realize what a gift this reciprocal energy is. God gave us this gift, Jesus came and told us about this gift.  It IS in giving that we receive. When I think of models for this concept, I think of St. Francis because he was a model of giving people HOPE in their lives just through his presence.

This is just an example of allowing our beliefs to be REAL for us, we can choose to live our life like it was true!

We never KNOW when just our simple presence in someone’s life through words and actions might lift them up, and yes sometimes it is the gift of money that we are giving. I could go into details of how a number of my days this summer arrived in depressing ways only to be totally lifted after  giving a gift of love to a few loved ones. Or the many days I faced deep challenges  giving so much and yet…there it was giving back to me.

This past week I had an AFTER DEATH communication from my brother Bill. It took me so off guard because it was not at a time that I was in meditation nor was I directly “thinking” about Bill like I have so many hours of the day. At first I doubted just a little…could I have SEEN what I just saw? I quickly asked my husband Doug who was beside me in the car, did you just see that? I was a bit bummed when he said no, until I allowed myself to sit with the SIGHT and ponder in wonder. I even had to call his wife to validate something. Her answer left me knowing it was real.  Oh I BELIEVE after death communication is very real. But, did the “thought” that there might be another explanation stop me for a bit, YES. That’s our human ~ness. I’m no exception.

The details are so BILL..seeing him driving his classic red convertible, turning on to his street? It took me several days to allow myself the joy that sat in my heart to explode in love. Even right now I’m smiling and chuckling because Bill’s sense of humor is simply still RIGHT THERE in this experience. And the image for me is implanted into my brain in vivid detail. That’s how I know without a doubt that the experience was very real. The image is not fading at all. It’s like a dream that is too real not to actually be real…somewhere in our existence.

Belief in the power of energy and thought deep in belief shapes my belief each time I can share the gift of healing with another!

• Now I simply say to myself, when life brings grief or depressing thoughts…just GO, give of yourself to another and EXPECT those feelings to totally LIFT bringing joy!
• EXPECT after death communication from my brother Bill or any other of my loved ones in spirit ~ it WILL be in my path and probably when I least expect it.
