New Year GRATITUDE

New Year GRATITUDE!

Not one of us can deny that we are LAUNCHED into the 2026 year! When ever I write down that year…there is a part of me that explores the wonder of it all! If TIME is an illusion, it is a pretty solid fact that lives with us in our present human form! Ahhh…SO, I really wanted to start my thoughts in a good direction and express my gratitude for all of the amazing LOVE and LIGHT that lives in each and every one of us. I DO believe that each of us wants to be in that love, express that love, and live in the LIGHT of LOVE! Each one of us has our unique thoughts, life experiences, and personalities. However, we ALL have the same gifts that live inside of each and every one of us.

Over the holidays I am sure each of us had experiences discerning for ourselves the meaning of the birth of Jesus. The celebration within our culture is in our daily lives even though we may practice any number of faiths…deep inside we know we are ALL worshiping the same GOD, Universal Source or any name we’d like to give our Creator.

Over the holiday break I received a forwarded email from my good friend and fellow Spiritual Seeker. She had mentioned that this man was expressing such a similar message that I had written in our last blog post about the birth of Christ and what it meant in my life. I LOVED the words he used to express the Christmas message about Christ being born so long ago. I thought you might enjoy reading his words as well.

“The Christ is a light meant to be born in you. Not through perfection. Definitely not through sacrifice. And not through trying harder or fixing yourself. But through remembering that the Christ Light is the blueprint of God already living within you. Whole. Innocent. Undamaged. Untouched by your past, your mistakes or your doubts. You are not waiting for Christ to arrive. You are where the Christ arrives. May this Christmas soften you. May it free you from unnecessary striving. May it gently restore your trust in the God who chose to dwell within you – AS YOU. ” ~ Mark Anthony Lord

Mark Anthony Lord is an ordained minister that has his footprint in both the Chicago area and Holland area and of course I had no idea! You know, I’ve been touched in life by SO MANY incredible people! All of us have read incredible books, listened to words expressed by gurus we love, and marveled at people’s insights into a deeper look into LIFE as a soul living in a human body. I loved Dr. Wayne Dyers thoughts that were put up recently, you can click on the photo to read them easier. But, this time, there is someone that is living in my own community and touching lives right near by! I may have been in his company and not realized it was Mark. But if you are interested in reading about his life, he has a fascinating background. He is a healer and offers his services, often channeling information. I don’t know him personally, but considering I now know he lives in my area…who knows, perhaps we will meet one day. You can find him at markanthonylord.me

For all of you Chicago area people, he started a facility that was at least at one time called Bodhi Spiritual Center. And some of you might remember Marj and I spoke at that Unity Church here in Saugatuck, MI. ( Close to Holland) For the past few years Mark Anthony Lord has been their minister, trying to help the church stay in existence due to dropping attendance and lack of support. Churches everywhere are suffering lack of support and I can imagine this has been a challenge for him. 

Also, over this holiday season I listened to an interview where a Chinese Proverb was read. I kept going back to it and listening over and over so I could write it down. I thought it was SO good and would probably be great words for all of us to start out our 2026 year! I have such a FIRM belief that we automatically HAVE light in our soul…all it takes to access it is awareness of it!

Light in Our Souls 

When there is light in our soul there will be beauty in the person.

When there is beauty in the person, there will be harmony in the house.

When there is harmony in the house, there will be order in the nation.

When there will be order in the nation, there will be peace in the world.

For myself, I KNOW I have precious LIGHT in my soul, allowing my heart to shine that light to others around me. My gratitude for the blessing of this LOVE drives my decisions on a moment to moment basis.  I KNOW that my words I say to myself and others are creating my life in this human body here on earth at this moment in time. As my own self love creates…I am sending creative blessings to YOU in gratitude for ALL that life has to offer YOU!
