Love is the Key

I woke up from a dream that was going over and over in my head and finally I got the message, “Get up and write it down.”  Here is what I first wrote:

Terry and I don’t have a “gift” that makes us different.  The difference is that we BELIEVE.

The key that opens the doors is belief in our God-given, built-in creative power. It is knowing there is life beyond this life.  It is knowing that our life goes on after “death.” But we don’t have to “die” to connect to the guidance that is available to all of us.

Matthew 7: 7-8 states:

“Ask and you will receive.  Search and you will find.  Knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks, receives.  Whoever seeks finds.  And to everyone who knocks, the door is opened.”

But you say, then why do we ask and it doesn’t happen?

Suzanne Gieseman channels a guide called Sanaya.  Sanaya gives us clues.

Sanaya Speaks Archive: September 15, 2010 Quote:

“First, pay attention to what you ask for.  Be most deliberate in your wording.  Second, have patience.  There may be quite a delay between the asking and the receiving.  You may have lessons to learn first – bricks to put in the wall for your life that you are building.  You cannot lay the top row before the others have been laid.  Third, ask for those things which will awaken your soul and help your Light and the Light of those around you to shine brighter.  What you receive will serve the greater good, for all are one.”

Then I opened up our book THE LIGHT GAP: GOD’S AMAZING PRESENCE and in the introduction what we could “give away” to our followers to bring light to the words above.

I quote from pages ix, xii, xiii:

“Every one of us has felt lost and alone at one time or another in our lives, and it brought fear.  Too often our fearful minds spin a web of complexity that makes the hardships of the world seem unbearable with little hope of escape. What if life wasn’t meant to be hard or fearful?  Love was meant to dominate our lives by threading only the unconditional love God has for us into daily living.

“How did we get to a new and different place in our lives? This book is about our discovery, finding God’s Amazing Presence ~ bringing light into darkness and thereby returning to LOVE. But, we were asking a whole lot of questions along the way. Perhaps you will recognize some of them.

What in the world happened to us?

Why did God create us with complete free will?

Are we the ones that have gone crazy?  Or does the world just not understand LIFE?

Is God sending messages through people into the world? Are we listening?

Where is God really?

Does any one church have all the answers?

Why do bad things happen to good people?

Does God really answer some prayers and not others?

Why doesn’t happiness just stay put in our lives?

Why does health seem to be a journey and not a destination?

Are there ancient texts giving us answers to life’s dilemmas?

Is everybody confused or is it just us?

Can brain scientists tell us what happened in my brain that day?

Can medical professionals be questioning common beliefs too?

How about the experts, do they get confused?

Many people are happy with the simplicity of “we’ll never know!” Our life experiences have painted a different picture because a seed of discovery was planted in both of us. We began to unravel our lives by realizing what entanglements we had woven into a fear-based life. Our culture seems to be based on fear for amazingly complex reasons. Fear takes on many disguises; anger, violence,
desire, grief, apathy, guilt, shame, anxiety, craving, condemning, evil and so much more.

What if simple God-realized love could dissolve the tangled mess so a beautiful patterned web can emerge. What if our view of the web was filtered in beautiful LIGHT shimmering in every corner?

For us, love emerged with new meaning. We experience love as kindness, compassion, acceptance, non-judgment, and grace threaded through other people all over the world. Each of us can do our part to bring out the darkness in others through our love. Our tangled world needs a lot of us to offset fear turned into hate.”

LOVE is the key!  Bring LIGHT to the darkness.

Simple acts of kindness.  One act at a time can change the world.

We are all gifted to open the door to our God-given, built-in creative power.

  1. But do you mean “Each of us can do our part to bring out the darkness in others through our love.” Help! that means emphasize the darkness, pull in out for all to see???
Tell me another way – help it to disappear? or bring out love in others?
I probably am interpreting it in a wrong way. But that was my first thought. Accept the darkness yes and then what?

    • What a great question! There are so many layers of meaning that can be uncovered in any piece of writing depending on how it arrived in our minds. We are living with two very different kinds of minds, one that tries to connect immediately to our human life (often producing unresolved fears) and one that goes deep into our soul for answers. Our soul only responds in love, God is unconditional love in all situations. Darkness need not be fearful, it is only the absence of light. We do not mean for anyone to bring out darkness in another. We mean just the opposite, help light their path. In other words, bring your LIGHT (Love) to life situations and darkness dims immediately. Think of how a candle lit in darkness brings a warm glow to a room. Turn on the light switch and the whole room is lit. Our love brought in compassion to those who are suffering lightens their load. There is NO EMPHASIS on darkness, only love brought in to heal another’s heart, your own heart, or situation! That’s why sending a loving prayer to all those involved in a horrible situation without judgment is powerful when LOTS of us can do that! Remember, our thoughts are pure energy going out to the world! The lighter OUR light is, the lighter the situation is! There is no need to fear darkness, God is always there ready to shine his light, it’s there within us always in the form of pure love and LIGHT!

  2. It made me fearful. But it is a beautiful ending, bring light to the darkness. That satisfies and drives fear down.

    • YES, LOVE a beautiful ending, LIGHT is a beautiful beginning and LOVE & LIGHT keep the middle beautiful! As long as we are in human form we will experience fear. We need not fear death, but let’s not wait to die to experience peace and calm. The closer we are to God’s love (found within and EVERYWHERE in life) the less fear we feel. Fear is a good topic for a new post! In the mean time, look for the joy in your life and LAUGH ~ our soul loves it and sends our body peace!
