Explore the Extraordinary: Aftereffects of Near-Death Experiences
I am thrilled, excited, nervous, confident, and very humbled to be a speaking author on panel #1 with another speaker. I am coordinating with my speaking partner, Jim Macartney. He has had two NDE’s and some very fascinating experiences. I have read his book and we are communicating with each other. I will share that with all of you after we have met in person and presented together. We share a common interest in science and spirituality as well as healing. He comes from a counseling background. We will be speaking Saturday, September 1 at this amazing conference. Along with our presentations, we will be hosting a question and answer opportunity.
During the four days I will be meeting so many amazing authors whose names I’ve recognized and read. I have learned from them over many years through their books and lectures. I will also be privileged to meet new faces with extraordinary stories to hear. Many of these people are changing lives all over the world. All speakers will share the deeper understanding of our near-death experiences and share our gifts through growth of many years. My talk is totally NEW and up to date with all of my learning since 1982, as well as since the publication of our book. My talk is condensed into dynamic keynote slides. My focus is on healing with a spiritually driven scientific understanding. A poster will be up with our book information, content about my presentation along with opportunities for me to be there talking with participants and answering their questions. People will have access to read these posters throughout the four days.
I fully expect to grow in amazing ways myself by being part of this community of incredibly creative people. We are ALL on this journey of life, I am no exception. However my NDE experience has brought a broader prospective to my life journey that I want to share. This opportunity is a very large international conference hosted by IANDS, International Association on Near Death Studies. I will be signing books at their incredible book store along with all the other authors. As much as I wish Marj could be there along with me, she is unable to come. I will be connected with her through spirit during the whole four days and we will talk often I am sure! Too many think this conference is only designed for people who have had an NDE or STE (Spiritually Transformative Event). This couldn’t be further from the truth. It is for everyone. It will be a gathering of spiritual seekers coming from all over. People who have had an extraordinary experience in their lives often change their perspective on human relationships and may develop special abilities to help others. So all of the speakers are there to help anyone! Research has shown the aftereffects of an NDE or STE prove to be the initiation of profound changes. We (as experiencers) seek to provide deeper understanding of these gifts, which allow us to live life with love, hope, joy, compassion, awareness and connection to others. Our goals are to help others find and live in that same loving way…all of us as humans are built the same. We are not any different than all of you, we all are given the same gifts upon birth! We are all connected in our journey to understand our purpose here on earth.
Speakers will all share just how much more there is to our so-called reality than what we can see, hear, smell, touch or taste. Our scientific community is beginning to explain that consciousness is a tangible and real phenomena. Direct experience is the key to opening a window into understanding how we are all connected through the binding force of unconditional love and it’s unlimited power to heal.
