All of us spend time every day living with emotions that begin as soon as we wake up! Do your “thoughts” create emotions you don’t want? Treasures lie within us, emotions that are gifts from God. We came into life knowing them: pure joy, peace, strength, courage, gratitude, humility, and of course Divine love.

Last week we wrote about a lost mode of prayer that when used WITH our FEELINGS could be powerful and very helpful in our lives. But, how do we find the positive feelings of love, gratitude and compassion that are needed, when in fact we might be miserable at the moment? This is tough for every one of us existing in our human body while living in a tangled world. The first step is recognizing these emotions and realizing they aren’t the REAL me, they are products of thoughts my mind has created.

We all suffer in some way whether it is physical, mental or emotional. We often feel happy about something in the moment, but we seldom know how long it will last. It might be five minutes or weeks. In fact we spend time “worrying” about that too. Then we find ourselves cascading perhaps into worry, sadness, or even anger. Our minds can actually send our emotions into a complete spin if we let them. I have experience in that!

It sounds so simple now, but I needed to learn that I was the creator of what my mind was “feeling”. At any moment we have the ability to re-create our emotions. It was too easy for me to decide it was all of the people around me that were “creating” the emotions that were showing up. What an eye opener when I realized I could change that negative thought in an instant, including pain that kept showing up in my body. Strong emotions such as anxiety, fear, anger, jealousy, judgment, and arrogance can totally drain our energy field! We get tired and our physical ailments actually feel worse. Our emotions permeate because we believe we are our bodies, and after all we are stuck with it! (Well, that was the old me!) Both Marj and I have a total knowing that NO WE ARE NOT just our bodies!

We share openly. We are not experts. In times of anxiety or pain I quickly use a prayer shared by Suzanne Geisemann, “ I forgive myself for ever thinking I was anything less than love!” After all, God is the one that created each of us in pure love.

We all need tools to help us out. PRAYER can be used to help when our thoughts follow a negative path and meditation can help us access the pure love we all have inside of us. Listening for answers in quiet opens new pathways. God is always there for us, but we have some work to do!

We know the universe works to help us find just what we need to build our spiritual closeness to God. Suzanne Geisemann is a beautiful human being who has put out an amazing CD to help in this process. She expertly helps all people in a very beautiful way. Both Marj and I connected to her ideas immediately upon hearing her soothing words.

From our light experiences, we know we came into this world as LIGHT and it burns forever within us. But our light can grow dim when negative emotions arise in us. We ALL experience low times. “That spark of light can be brightened and your light can never be extinguished!”, Suzanne Geisemann  explains through Sanaya, her spirit guide. If you are looking for a new CD to help with meditation and understanding your beautiful soul’s power, you will benefit by owning this one and listening to it often! If you are unfamiliar with chakras and how they benefit your body’s emotional response, you will love this CD. It just makes you FEEL good inside! Her CD is available on her website and here is the link to find it. You can listen to part of it on her website.  http://www.suzannegiesemann.com/audiojourneys/
