It’s in the KNOWING…

There is something SPECIAL…in the KNOWING!

Each year of our lives, the cycle of seasons simply “happens”. We look in awe as the first flowers of spring emerge from that cold dead looking earth.  Temperatures warm and that beautiful sunny day you have been waiting for bursts out in a gorgeous sunrise morning. The birds are back chirping their lovely good morning, leaving a whisper in our ears. Something in our step that day somehow feels lighter. Spring finally starts bursting forth in front of us. There is something SPECIAL…in the KNOWING…the expectation in knowing… “more” beauty is yet to come!

In fact, we usually bring in the beauty of nature grown from greenhouses into our houses for that pleasing effect of KNOWING that this life will be growing outside around us soon. I believe it is   also the knowing that the beauty we bring into our houses…awakens our inner beauty that is always there!

Now, let’s think of our LIVES. If life is like the continuous yearly cycle, that means that at every turn there is a KNOWING deep inside of us that change, in all of its beauty (yes, difficult times have their beauty! ), will burst forth in our lives. We sometimes dread change we “think” might be coming. In my experience that means I forgot to go into that special place of KNOWING…that I came into this life to ENJOY, experience  the beauty, have fun, smile, laugh, and allow any grief or suffering to simply be threaded through all of my daily experiences.

I look up into that powerful energy of the sun above and remember God’s ALL POWERING love for me along with all of humankind and especially ALL of you! I’ve had two nights of hearing my name called in a male voice…it has startled me to say the least. This is not a common occurrence for me at all. I lay my head back down on my pillow wondering at the significance. I am asking…and I know the answer will come, but it’s like the emergence of spring. I KNOW an answer will come, but just like in nature, it will happen at just the right time. There are all of the varying “weather” days  arriving that can change the trajectory. Sometimes those “weather days” are simply my own perceptions arriving OR they are changed by another person’s choices in life. Either way, LOVE will drive my choices.

So…in my knowing deep within I can expect ALL of these things listed below to arrive…just like I can count on Spring to keep knocking on my door!

I hope you will try an exercise with me…close your eyes and picture God’s hands holding this rock with these messages just for you and placing it right in YOUR garden of life!

Laughter to kiss your lips,

Beauty for your eyes to see,

Sunsets to warm your heart,

Rainbows to follow the clouds,

Smiles when sadness intrudes,

Hugs when spirits sag,

Comfort on difficult days,

Faith so that you can believe,

Confidence for when you doubt,

Patience to accept the truth,

Courage to know yourself,

Love to complete your life.

I send HOPE, LOVE, and the BEAUTY of Spring to awaken your soul to your own truths…it is on the way!
