Weighing a CONVERSATION…

Sometimes I find myself wishing for more conversation surrounding Spiritual Topics and other times I simply want to go within and sit with my own thoughts. I know they can be very POWERFUL for me. But, there is something in me that keeps me reading. After much thought I realized that weighing the pros and cons of another person’s words keeps me in a better place than always pondering my own. Too funny…I think it must be somewhat of a lack of trust that I know answers about ANYTHING?! I actually understand that as a concept. I believe that not any one of us KNOW it all! I’m guessing Jesus came pretty close!

The other day I heard a news cast about Pope Leo. He’s been in the news a lot lately. But then I saw where his words were written down..and this was a conversation he was having with a news reporter due to some political comments made. ( I’m staying WAY away from that part!) But I felt like Pope Leo’s  words are actually very pertinent and I think good for all of us to contemplate in our current situations, regardless of our political or religious leanings.

“Christ taught us to love one another as He loved us. So tell me – can you imagine hatred in heaven? Can you imagine racism in heaven? Can you imagine children suffering from hunger in heaven? Then why do we continue to accept these things here on earth?” -~ Pope Leo XIV

I will go on with one more statement he made.

“The President of the United States just said that I insult Jesus. But you want to know what truly insults Jesus? Watching the sick and poor crying out for mercy while wealth and power are placed above human dignity.” 

What a sad statement about our country and many places in the world. I know I have been watching too much news these days! Now that statement should be putting all of us into weighing how much conversations can make a difference! We all have to process through our OWN hearts, knowing we can make a difference in another person’s life. And sometimes it is simply our conversations! I hate that our news is riddled with news of our newest trillionaire & all of the huge spending  instead of what we are doing for people in our country that are suffering right now. Is this a spiritual topic? I actually do believe it is the SPIRITUAL part of us that KNOWS how much we need  a total SHOWER of LOVE and then be willing to spread it around us!!

I know many mediums are sharing information received saying we simply say we need to “live” through the next few years to get past all of this. But, there is a piece in me that says we need to do a little more than close off a difficult world…we are PART of it! YOU are the Divine LIGHT of the world and so am I! WE can and do make a difference and I hope you will join me in thoughts that can be shared in conversations around us.

I know this is where my healing training kicks in because it isn’t about knowing a right technique, HEALING is connecting with our Source ( in whatever name you want to give it) and bring about compassion, happiness, joy, laughter, harmony, delight, pleasure, miracles, smiles and peace through HEART Coherence with LOVE.
